Dom is an endorsed clinical psychologist with AHPRA and a member of the Australian Psychological Society.

​

Dom has spent many years working across the lifespan with children, adolescents, and adults. He has worked in multiple contexts across government, not-for-profits, with complex NDIS populations, and in private practice.

​

Dom places a high value on working with individuals who may face barriers to traditional services including working with gender & sexuality concerns, with men & boys, and with rural populations who face considerable barriers to accessing traditional services.

​​

Dom's research passions have been working within the paradigm of gender norms and masculinity and its effect on mental health help seeking.

Dom works from a position that aims to affirm the experiences and unique challenges experienced by some populations who have traditionally been under served by psychology.

Dom aims to practice from place that centres the individual's experience

and acknowledges the impositions of society and culture on

women, men, and gender non-conforming populations.

Dom acknowledges the positive role of masculinity for men and boys.

Dom practices from a sexuality and gender-affirming position.

Dom acknowledges the diversity of experience of neurodiverse populations.

HOW CAN WE HELP

Dom has experience working with clients at all stages of change and readiness to engage. Dom is an integrative practitioner, blending skills based approaches (CBT, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) and depth/discovery based approaches (e.g.: attachment based therapy, relational psychodynamic) to explore the best ways to identify the current and historic challenges and experiences that have shaped your unique experience and understanding of self.
